    This years event will not only celebrate 198 years of Columbus but also those who have made significant contributions to Columbus with the our First Annual Lucas Sullivant Gift Awards.
 
    In the spirit of Lucas Sullivant, who gave so much to the development of central Ohio - from giving away the first lots on Gift Street to anyone willing to settle in the growing Franklinton community, to assisting with the creation of our capitol on the high banks of the Scioto - we will be honoring those who have given much to the life, culture, and history of Columbus.
 

    Nominations are in, the winners will be announced mid January in the categories of -

, Organization, Company
 
    The Columbus Underground Blog will also be collecting nominations for and presenting the first Arch Award honoring a young professional who has given a gift to the City of Columbus in the spirit of Lucas Sullivant.
