Suspicious Neighbors: OSU and Columbus in the Turbulent Sixties

Author William Shkurti will speak on the evolving relationship between the Columbus community and Ohio State University. Shkurti, adjunct professor in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs at OSU, has both a B.A. economics and a Masters degree from the school and retired as the school’s chief financial officer in 2010. He also served in a number of positions for the State of Ohio, including state budget director from 1985-1987. Shkurti is the author of the 2016 book The Ohio State University in the Sixties: The Unraveling of the Old Order.
